Arizona is sunny over 300 days out of the year. So opportunities for sunset and sunrise photos are plentiful - except for one thing - they always look better with clouds! So, I am always tracking the weather to see if clouds will be present at those prime times when the sky is most spectacular. In addition, it is also very dry in Arizona. So, sometimes I will be driving to a prime location outside the city limits, and the clouds will simply start disappearing. No fear! I so enjoy the outdoors in Arizona, that it is not an issue for me. If I can take photos of the sky because it is clear, the lighting is almost always perfect at those times for photographing birds!
